Rangers: Now Recruiting
Whatever you was doing? Wherever you were? It's now irrelevant. You see a sudden flash of light, a sensation like you're suddenly made of nothingness, and a rush of electric energy where you think your body must be. There's just enough time and consciousness for you to think that this is frightening, or strange, or perhaps cool, but in a second your body is whole again and you're sprawled on the cold hard ground in the darkness.
The space you find yourself in is dark, save for the twinkling white lights like stars that adorn the walls. As others warp in just like you have, streaks of colored teleportation energy fading around the outlines of their bodies, a ring of light illuminates the central controls. A number of control panels surrounds a central platform, the tops of the panels standing about at waist-height for an adult human. Each panel's outline is lit by a colored streak of light.
A single shape stands on the central platform, hustling and bustling to each successive platform. It's not human---the head is shaped like two cymbals crushed together, the limbs move a little too stiffly, and brightly lit buttons line its torso. It suddenly turns to spot your character, its red visor fixed on you as surely as a human's eyes would be. The little robot throws up its hands, waving you over after a moment.
"Ai yai yai. Ah...what should I say? Oh, that's right. Welcome, humans! And...others. You have been chosen to become Power Rangers."
Congratulations, you're about to find out just what that means.
[ooc: Your character has been given a morpher and a promise that they'll know what to do when they morph. Feel free to talk amongst the other recruits, badger Alpha, accept or refuse the offer at your leisure. No matter what, though, the call of battle will soon reach you, and your character will be teleported out into the wider world (and the call of battle). Don't worry, you'll be back in the Hexagon soon enough.]

"Well I know what you are. Human," she declared, pronouncing the word strangely as if it was a brand new concept to her.

A human? Like she'd ever want to be one of those disgusting things... However, it was the disguises she took on and she'd better play it out unless she wants to be found out.
G smirks and crosses his arms. "To a point, kind of. I've never seen a talking animal that wasn't a Pokemon before..."

"They cheat, lie, kill, kidnap and anything possible in order to move up in the power hierarchy. You want a race that will do unspeakable things to anything, anyone and even including their own race? That'd be humans." he said with a digusted face, almost unable to contain his anger.
"Sure there's the few who are the total opposite of all of that, but as a whole? The majority would use you as a stepping stone the moment it became convenient and they won't look back. You might as well be dead to them if you aren't useful."
no subject
"You sure about that? I mean...we don't have 'em in Equestria, but they haven't been so bad just now."
no subject
"I know personally... I got fooled into working for them for a very long time... They promised a better world if I did what they told me... Jobs here and there, all for the great plans of a better tomorrow."
G spat and growled, his eyes glowing for a second.
"All a fucking lie..."

He sighed and groaned. "For now I'll have to play nice and see what their fucking deal in hopes that I can find a way back home. I'm guessin' you're wanting to go home to your friends too so I'd say you should try that too. Just, keep your wits about you and always watch your back."

"Just watch yourself," he warned her before crossing his arms. "Going into something new like this, with no security whatsoever already smells fishy."
